Breaking Up and Moving Out
Yvonne and I had dated for about a year before moving in with each other and starting our degrees. We met in a Leeds nightclub I won’t name for shame.
To be fair, my parents had reservations from the beginning, but the ignorance of youth God bless it meant I wasn’t going to listen to them. I knew
best. We felt like we were at the start of the beginning of an entire life together. Starting University is a big step in itself, but starting it in a
relationship with someone intensifies the feeling of whole new beginning. We had decided to tour the city to see what kind of cosmeticdentistryguide.co.uk/teethwhitening.html had up for grabs. Naturally, we wanted a decent place large enough
for the both of us and to be honest it took less than a week to find a place we felt was perfect through one of the Leeds letting agents . For the first six months everything ran smoothly, but eventually the
pressures of study and, if truth be known, the temptations of the night life began to cause us to resent each other a little. We weren’t strong enough
to weather this storm and we split after some heated arguments. Might we have lasted if we hadn’t rushed into getting a place together while studying?
I’m not sure, but my parents got to say they had told me so and I can’t help but wonder what might have been.
